Where can I get these old-school PC games?

I love all the old PC games. I appreciate these new systems that can think like people and have games with amazingly realistic visuals, but give me the basics.

Here is my list, I well pay anyone in favors that can help me track these down and make them work on my macbook pro.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Day of the Tentacle
Ultima 7
Secret of Monkey Island

AND MOST OF ALL:

High Seas Trader. I will give you my first born if you can tell me where to find this and how to make it work. Seriously.

I’m a Father!!!

Or at least I feel like it. I’m beaming with joy and have a feeling I’ll be up all night. I just bought a 15″ Macbook Pro. I’ve owned it less than an hour and am already in love…

I haven’t installed anything on this beauty yet, but as soon as I do I’ll start posting combatively.

Bill Murray on Technology

A classic 1982 clip of Bill Murray commenting on technology. For a magazine called “Wired In”, multiple takes of him ranting about technology - hilarious.

Palm Island in use!

I love Google Maps. It’s absolutely mind-blowing to think that I can view almost any city-block or location around the world in seconds.

I’ve always been interested in the Palm Islands that Dubai created. I watched a couple Discovery Channel specials about them, and decided to check them out this morning. It looks like they are rapidly being developed!

A couple interesting facts:

173 million cubic feet of rock were used to make the “palm” of the island.

there is a six lane highway under the ocean that connects the crescent to the main “palm”. I found a cool time-lapse of the tunnel being created, check it out!

And the finished product:

Check out the islands by map. Or check out the homepage for much more information.

I just read about this site, and signed up for an account. This is by far the most intuitive and easily usable personal finance tool on the market. It is a free site that allows you to enter you’re budget and expenses, as well as track your spending habits and know where you’re money is going. I’ve been someone who’s budget has always resided in my head, and this helps me visualize the overall picture of my finances.

Check out the website here.
