They have to do that. They trust you, but they do not trust bots that do spamming. This is way to make difference between you and bot, because bot can not read those images
I take it you haven’t seen the spam-bots that have been plaguing the system as of late. Typing in an extra word or two every so often is much preferable to getting 5 pages of identical reviews, in my opinion.
