WIN A FREE WALLET - submit an available URL!

Alright Folkas, I’m giving away a free wallet. I work for a designer wallet company called db clay, and will be giving a free wallet to someone who comments (with a valid email) on this post. The drawing will be held next Wednesday, giving everyone one week to comment and enter the drawing!

The Rules:

  • You must comment on this post with a URL of your choice that is available to purchase.
  • You can choose any URL that you think is witty, useful, pointed, or general.
  • Give a reason for your choice.

The Prize:

(1) db clay wallet of your choice! Here are two examples:

db clay walletAll of the wallets are made from our own custom-engineered textile called “Tope”, which is PVC + Chlorine free, biodegradable, and vegan. The images are taken from our own life experiences - the brown print came from a mental institution in Oregon called Dammasch. The wallet with all of the wigs on it was taken in Portland (where the company started) by our crazy photographer Steve Steckly. The dammasch print was obtained one illegal night years ago that collectively changed the mindset of the company’s members, and sent us down the path of taking over the world. As it turns out it was discovered in a bathroom that had long since been occupied. Learn more at dbclay.com.

My URL’s:

To start the ball rolling, here are a couple URL’s I think are great and why.

  • http://www.indiggnation.com - this would be a great site for a digg resource, and is a great play on words.
  • http://www.travelust.org - this would be a cool travel site, for either a blog or a collection of travel stories.
  • http://www.monkeysrule.com - because monkeys do rule, and i will have one, someday…

Again, the URL you submit can’t be taken. Good luck!

I would really like the second one because I am a long time fan of of DB Clays. I also make my own duct tape wallets. But I really like the second one because of the pattern.

    Did anyone read the rules?

I like the domain name semenatwork.com. It could be a cool fan site for show listings of the Aussie band that sing that “Down Under” song. If they are not touring anymore, there could just be ultrasound photos or something.

What about WALLETRIFIC.COM? Wallet, terrific - just a solid combo, and kind of a fun one to say.

On your Digg mention, DIGGTASTIC.NET - surprised it’s still available, honestly. Could be a Digg meme site…

Both wallets are very sexy btw…Love your stuff! :)

    Here are my favorites:
pubictoupe.com : does it need any explanation? It just rolls off the tongue. Ooh, that’s gross.

jesushblog.com : an outlet for a zealous minister to rail against the world and his flock.

instanturlsearch.com : this one makes a lot of sense given the nature of this contest and will probably be snapped up. Can’t believe it’s available. And OK, it is an easy knock-off of instantdomainsearch.com, which I love.

dolphinchildren.com : oh wait, I already got this one!

FILLABOTTLESAVESOMEWATER.COM for the southeast drought and the environmental people.

    GAINTSBEATTHEPATRIOTS.COM, nice upset.
