I’ve recently come to the conclusion that God is not real, my reason? Give me one that he is besides the ones that you “taught” me…

OH!! C’MON!! Open your eyes He is all around us. Are you kidding me? Just look at the sky at night or a tree in your back yard or even a little ant taking food back to its colony. You tell me who did all of that. YOU?

How about showing a little more respect for the things that we have limited human knowledge of. If we have to respect authority on this planet I think it is with God that we should start. So even if you don’t believe be thankful you’re still alive to say so. Then maybe you will think… and who allows me to wake up alive yet another morning?

What allows you to wake up alive another mourning is your immune system fighting bacteria and viruses. The immune system that has changed and adapted to better suit the environment you evolved in. It would seem as though you’ve never taken a bio. class. Show me one bit of evidence that I can’t prove wrong and I’ll side with you.
I just wanted to make the comment that in modern times we should no longer be discussing whether or not a God is actual or not, but rather the idea of whether or not it is logically permissible to believe in a God. Which theory allows for the best explanations based on logical statements rather than which one just sounds good because it makes us happy? I don’t want to weigh in on either side of it, but just wanted to point that out.
These letters are adorable, though.

I personally pray to the God Joe Pesci, he has the same success rate for answering prayers as every other god.
Ishtar, 17. May 2008, 7:07
All Praise be to Pesci, Our Italian Lord, now and forever, here and hereafter, Domine Patre, et spiritu sanctus, gloria, allelua!
Amen

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Easy as that.
John Todd, 6. June 2008, 14:53
Can anyone prove that God does not exist?? Don’t think so. Science does not disprove God, and God does not disprove science. There is evidence all around us supporting BOTH. God explains WHY. Science explains HOW. Who ever decided that God and science can’t possibly go hand in hand should be shot! In public!!
Aaron, 8. June 2008, 8:35
Shooting dissenters? how very democratic of you.
Atheists don’t claim to have proof that God doesn’t exist, only that we see no evidence that he does.

@ John Todd,
Where exactly is all of this evidence that God exists?
