Standing at POOL
Right now I’m standing at the POOL tradeshow in Las Vegas. It’s the first day of our show, and it is a trip. Beautiful people abound, brands that won’t be around next year have a desperate edge in their voice, and the people are by and large insane. This is my first tradeshow, my inital impression: wow. Not in a bad way, but in a very new way. To see so many people dedicated to the fashion industry- and not just the fashion industry, but the cutting edge of the fashion industry, is really, well, crazy. The last two days in Vegas have seen an all-nighter, many drinks, and some serious gambling. Minus the gambling. I love to hate this town. More to come…
