This pelican decides to have a tasty little snack- in the form of a pigeon. The first dozen or so times I saw this I watched with muted fascination as the pigeon struggles for life, as it moves from the pelicans jowls to its stomach. Creepy.
18 is the new 22.
What a line. Especially when you are referring to a girl’s age. A friend of mine that lives in California told me this while trying to justify dating girls that are 17 and 18. This wouldn’t be a big deal if he wasn’t a decade older than them, making the term “barely legal” more appropriate than I’d like.

One evening we were out at Betty Ford here in Portland, and unbeknownst to me my friend was already plowed before we arrived. Upon slugging two vodkas, he decided it was socially acceptable to start slapping girls at the bar. I realized what he was doing after the third shocked/upset looking girl walked away from him. Well done, john-boy.
